The merging of 2 doors into one..

Finally checked off one of the bigger jobs in the ensuite as complete. The sliding french doors. Because we can't do things easy, we had decided to remove the 2 existing doors and put in a pocket door, this would also free up room b/c the doors swing open into the walkway between the bedroom and the ensuite. Well one day at Home depot we saw these lovely glass paneled closet doors and thought they would look great.
The hardest part was cutting out the 2 old headers and putting in the new 6 ft one. Well after a lot of banging and pissing off old Gladice we got it in on Saturday. Yesterday we framed out the door opening and installed the new doors.. I think they look great, almost spa like..
Next finish drywall,, then Paint..

You inspire me to be a better reno-person. Good God, Margo, you should do this for a living. Handy girls you both are! I think I need to fire Darin and have you two come stay with me for a week. You'd have the joint in ship shape condition in NO time!

Those doors are awesome! After Chunks house, you can come to mine, ok? Cuz quite frankly, we suck. haha. We're mostly handy at holding chairs down with our asses and such.
