go big or go home thats what I always say..

Hey yall. I know its been a while since I put fingers to keyboard. Ok, I am done with typing gramatically.. this new laptop has the stupidest keyboard. the shift key is the same size as a normal letter key and its a bitch to capitalize anything.. so from now on its all lower case baby.. deal with it..

its been super busy in the house since xmas.. with the new purchase, the finishing up of this massive project that I call my current house, trying to find a renter who is not crazy and shows up when they book a viewing, dealing with a pregnant dog, dealing with a crazy westie, work, blah blah.

first off, we are in the home stretch of the new house purchase.. signed all the mortgage docs last week, probably sign at the lawyer this week. we take possession on march 3rd so its right around the corner. to be honest i haven't had time to get excited, there is just too much to focus on here. in the last month we have painted the main bathroom, recaulked the tub, painted the living room and all the trim, painted the entrance area and closet, painted the spare room and trim, installed all the baseboards and casing in the ensuite/bedroom, etc...
i finally decided on tile for the shower, its only been a year and a half.. picked it up on sunday, then yesterday started to tile.. only got 5 tiles in, but in our defence they are on the ceiling so its a learning curve.. only had one fall off and thankfully no one was underneath.. the shower is the last thing that needs to be done upstairs other than packing.. which we have started to do as well...
ok that covers the house stuff.

i am not sure if i told you all that addie was pregnant, we thought she might be but then 2 weeks ago she just all of a sudden started showing.. it was crazy.. so at rochelles request we booked an ultrasound at the vet to make sure things were ok and to see how many she was having.. well it would be an understatement to say we were surprised to hear that she had 5 possibly 6 in there. it was pretty cool to see the spines and the skulls, we seen 6 spines and only 5 skulls.. so we are not sure if one of the heads was being hidden or what.. anywhoo we are gonna be grandmas, rochelle and margo plus 8.. lol should be interesting. and the timing is fabulous since she is due on feb 26.. I plan on working from home that week to make sure she is ok, and we are shipping angus over to my friend sage's house so he doesn't stress the mama out.

so now the main worry i have, and you know how i like to worry is finding a renter.. b/c really we can't afford 2 mortgages.. we have had a few people who were interested, 5 people booked viewings and 3 were no shows.. what is that about.. would it have been too hard to send and email or call and say they weren't coming.. the only plus side is that this house has never been so clean..
will keep you posted on the drama as it unfolds..

well thats all i got for this morning..

peace out,,

m

Rochelle and Margo plus 8! LOVE IT!

Can your realtor hook you up with some potential renters? What about a rental management company? How does one tile overhead? Will you be selling the pups? How much? What would they be, shelticockachons? Will they shed? Don't let me convince you to send me one. I have enough trouble with Tazmo and his personality disorder. LOL!
